Edwin C. Savage, 60 of Indianapolis, father of Mrs. Harvey L. Smith, Rt. 5, Crawfordsville, died Saturday at Methodist Hospital in the capital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith J. Savage, in March 14, 1966. Survivors include his mother, Addie Savage, an aunt, Miss Bell Tibbs, and a sister, Mrs. Honer Gisbon, all of Indianapolis. Also, one son at home, Edwin C. Savage, Jr., and four daughters, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Gerald DeVore, Mrs. Darwin Masters, Mrs. Perry Neal, and several grandchildren. Mr. Savage visited several times in the area. Services will be held at the Usher Funeral Home, 2313 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
